On December 9, 2019, 2K Games announced a new studio called Cloud Chamber and announced a new studio bioshock The game, temporarily dubbed Bioshock 4. At the time of the reveal, we haven’t seen anything about the game nor have we got any official details about the game. Three years later and that hasn’t changed, but according to a new rumor, it may finally change later this year. While Cloud Chamber and 2K Games are still not talking about the project, and while there’s no suggestion that this will change anytime soon, a new rumor claims that the game will likely be revealed this year, which isn’t too surprising given the many suggested rumors were. The game is ready to be announced early last year.
Rumors come from the way Sorry about the leaks, a Twitter user who has gained a reputation and a following for sharing a variety of rumors and grumbles in the field. According to him, they are “almost certain” that the match will be announced this year. They don’t go into why, but the implication is that this prediction is a mixture of inside information and speculation. Yet, for what it’s worth, it’s in keeping with the grumbling we’ve heard here and there. Based on what we’ve heard though, he’s not going to raise his head during the impending cycle of shows and ads at Summer Game Fest.
Unfortunately that is how much information the leaker provided and how much we heard through the vine. Of course, what is here must be taken with a grain of salt. Not only is everything here informal, but even if it is accurate, it is also subject to change. As expected, none of the parties involved addressed this rumor in any capacity. We don’t anticipate this change for several reasons, but if it does, we’ll make sure to update the story accordingly.
